Build Your Team: Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

More and more organizations are leaving the workplace and the classroom to build leadership and team skills on Habitat for Humanity worksites. Hands-on activities in a new environment help employees get to know each other better while providing service to the community. And, it’s fun!

“While our volunteers are building their teams and their skills, they are building homes in partnership with your home buyer families,” said Don Jones, executive director, Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity. “That adds up to a really good day at the office!”

Stryker, Kalsec, Pfizer, Pepsi, Greenleaf Hospitality, Farmers Insurance, Consumers Energy, Lynx Network Group, and Humanex are sharing their talents with Habitat this year. Habitat hosts construction volunteer groups on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The Habitat ReStore hosts volunteers on Friday as well.
